Is mica the same as laminate?
Yes. “Mica” is what most people in Tamil Nadu call decorative laminate sheets. They are the same product.
What is the price of a laminate sheet?
It depends on the design, finish and thickness. Send the design codes and number of sheets on WhatsApp for today’s retail or trade price. [Optionally publish a “from ₹X per sheet” figure.]
Which thickness should I use for wardrobes?
[0.8 mm] suits most wardrobe and kitchen shutters. Use [1 mm] for table tops and surfaces that take heavy wear, and a liner inside carcasses. [Confirm against the sizes you stock.]
Laminate or acrylic for my kitchen?
Acrylic (Acrylam) gives a seamless gloss or matt look on the shutters. Laminate costs less and is very hard-wearing. Many kitchens use Acrylam on the shutters and laminate inside the cabinets.
