Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Zak Décor Mart (“we”, “us”) receives when you use this website, and how we use it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

• Messages you send us. Every “WhatsApp” button opens WhatsApp with a message already written. Nothing is sent until you press send. When you do, we receive your message, your name and number as shown in WhatsApp, and anything you attach.
• Calls. If you call us, we see your phone number.
• Forms on this site (the trade quote builder, the contact form and the cost estimator) run in your browser. They only build a WhatsApp message, and do not send anything to us on their own.
• No analytics cookies. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

Stored in your browser

To make the site easier to use, we save a few settings in your own browser (local storage). They never leave your device:

• your Acrylam shade list, so it stays between pages, and
• whether you last chose “Design my space” or “Buy materials” on the home page.

You can clear them at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

How we use your information

Only to reply to you: to quote prices, check stock, arrange showroom visits, samples and deliveries, and to plan and carry out interior projects you ask us about. We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask for them.

Who else is involved

• WhatsApp (Meta) carries the messages you send us, under its own privacy policy.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep it secure and running.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep business and tax records. [Confirm your retention period, e.g. up to X years after your last order or project.]

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (unless we must keep it by law). Message us on WhatsApp or write to us using the details below. These rights follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
